View remote systems

Network-attached storage is a file-level storage architecture that makes stored data more accessible to networked devices.

Steps

Select a storage system that supports PowerMax File migration.
Select Data Protection > File Migration.
Select Remote Systems.
The following properties display:
- Name—Name of the remote system
- Remote System Type—Type of remote system
- Management IP—IP address of the management system
- Remote System Model—The model of the remote system

- Name—Name of replication session
- Remote System Type—Type of remote system
- Management IP—IP address of the management system
- Remote System Model—Model of the remote system
- Remote System Version—Version of the remote system
- Username—Username
- Network—Network name
- Creation Time—Creation time
- Last Discovery Time—Last discovery time
The following controls are available:
- Add Remote System— Add remote storage system
- Modify— Modify remote storage system
- Import NAS Server— Import NAS servers from source array
- —Deletes the selected remote system
- Check Remote System Status—Checks the communication with the selected remote system
- Discover—Discovers all NAS servers
